Healthwatch Cumbria (HWC) is pleased to announce the release of its report on patients’ experience of Treatment at Distance.
HWC was commissioned by the west, north and east Cumbria Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) to facilitate a series of engagement events around the issues affecting people receiving treatment at distance. Twelve events took place in the first two weeks of February 2017 and they were designed to encourage participants to share their ideas for how things could be improved when having to travel long distances to receive treatment.
The Cumbrian public responded exceptionally well and provided many fresh, innovative solutions informed by their own experiences. These ideas were recorded and form the basis of the report which you can access here.
