parking survey

What’s your experience of recent car parking changes at Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle (CIC)?

Following recent changes to car parking arrangements at (CIC), Healthwatch Cumbria(HWC) is seeking people’s experiences of these new initiatives. Healthwatch staff will be on CIC premises inviting people to complete a short survey during August and September 2016. The survey will be open until 12 noon on 03rd October 2016.

The survey can also be accessed online by clicking on the following link:

As HWC previously reported, these new parking arrangements were introduced on July 11th. A new staff car park opened providing an extra 100 spaces and to increase safety around the hospital site. Vehicles that are not parked in accordance with the rules displayed in the car parks will be issued with a parking charge. Staff from UK Parking Control (UKPC) are patrolling the CIC site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These charges are being introduced as an incentive to ensure the hospital can operate safely. The parking charges will be £40 if paid within 14 days and £70 thereafter.
